It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a Sleepy Hollow episode, and almost as long since I’ve watched one, but after a small mini-marathon yesterday morning, I was raring to go for last night’s episode. With Hawley out of the way and only a few episodes left in the season, I figured the writers would be bringing their A-game. It was therefore doubly disappointing to discover that “Spellcaster” wasn’t really anything to write home about. Spoilers after the jump!
After a pretty bad midseason finale, I was hoping the midseason premiere would come back and the show would be stronger than ever. While that didn’t exactly happen, Sleepy Hollow did come back with some interesting surprises.
So after a long week of Ferguson and Thanksgiving, two things that could not be more opposite if they tried, Sleepy Hollow finally came back with its midseason finale. Was it good? Well, I wouldn’t say so. Major spoilers after the jump.
Hey Sleepyheads! It’s finally my turn to review the episode of the week, and I’m damn pleased that this was the one I got. “Go Where I Send Thee…” was a solid monster of the week episode with some long-reaching plot consequences, and I enjoyed the heck out of it.
It’s that time again, folks—Sleepy Hollow time. Last season finished with a bang, and early speculation about Season 2 of Sleepy Hollow got us some tidbits of new information, but now we have some trailers and scenes from the new season. Let the speculation begin!
Sleepy Hollow is finally back from hiatus, and tonight we got the penultimate episode of season one. After a fewdisappointingepisodes and a long wait, I wasn’t particularly excited for this episode, but someone out there has been listening to my prayers. Non-spoilery review: this was a really good episode.
I won’t lie, I’ve been looking forward to this episode ever since I saw the eight-minute sneak preview at New York Comic Con back in mid-October. Ichabbie-filled baseball banter, more screentime for Katrina, and maybe a better glimpse into what the plot of the show actually is? I loved it. Now that I’ve seen the full episode, however, follow me past the jump to see if it lived up to the preview footage.
