You know, I’m not sure how excited I am for this season. Yeah, there looks to be a lot of awesome to be had. Ventress is back, and she’s fighting Ahsoka. We get to see Sidious face off against Maul. And most of all, finally something other than this damn war is going on. Thank you, Maul. Seriously, as much as The Clone Wars is about, well, the Clone Wars, after watching episode and episode of “then this strategic battle happens” it gets tiring. And it looks like a few female characters are going to be introduced.
The only reason I’m not excited is because of what seems to be a sure sign of droid-centric episodes. I don’t care about the droids. As much as R2-D2 and C3PO are traditional Star Wars icons, they’re not people. I don’t want to watch their shenanigans in this war. I get enough of that from Jar Jar Binks, who thankfully, I didn’t see in this trailer.
